Located in the village of Guillemont within the heart of the Somme battlefields area, Guillemont Halt is a self catering holiday home which can accommodate up to 11 guests in spacious and comfortable surroundings.
The house has a unique feature from the 1914-1918 war. An infilled German bunker has been discovered under the location of the original house, which was rebuilt after the 1914-18 war. The bunker and stairway was excavated during the house renovations and a glass panel has been installed in the living room to show a small part of the dugout.

Guillemont Halt is situated at the centre of a Village which was subject to fierce fighting during July and August 1916 before finally being captured on 3 September 1916. Within walking distance of many important landmarks such as Guillemont Road Cemetery, the 16th Irish Division Celtic Cross outside Guillemont Church, Trones Wood, the Maltz Horn Cross, the 20th Light Division Memorial and the recently inaugurated Jersey Pals Memorial. Longueval and Delville Wood are a couple of minutes drive away. Lochnagar Crater is a 12 minute drive away with Thiepval Memorial, The Ulster Tower and Albert Town Centre 15 minute drive from the house.
